Preston Lennon
Preston Lennon is a postdoctoral associate at the Rutgers University Center for Cognitive Science. He works primarily in the philosophy of mind, the philosophy of cognitive science, and ethics. He has theorized about what aphantasia can tell us about conscious thought, and has published work in Oxford Studies in Philosophy of Mind on how aphantasia might point to answers in the disagreement over the role of senses in the philosophy of mind.

Rebecca Rovetto
Rebecca Rovetto is a VP, Scientific Strategy in pharmaceutical advertising and promotion at Area 23. She has a PhD in Neuroscience from Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and a BS in Biotechnology from Rutgers University. She suspects she might have SDAM, and has shared advice and research on standards for general diagnostic tools and tests specifically around memory.

Samantha Keller
Samantha Keller is a scientist and experienced Medical Director currently working in healthcare communications. She was a Postdoctural fellow at NYU Grossman School of Medicine, where she focused on breast cancer/oncology. She has a PhD in Behavioral Neuroscience from the University of Delaware and a BA with distinction in Psychology from Stockton University. Sam has lent her expertise in neuroscience to advise further explorations of aphantasia’s symptoms.

Bruce Shapiro
Dr. Bruce Shapiro is a former Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York. A Distinguished Life Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association, Dr. Shapiro is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Dr. Shapiro has held numerous teaching and clinical positions, including being a former Associate Director of Psychiatric Residency Training at New York Medical College and the former Psychiatrist-in-Chief at Stamford Hospital in Stamford, Connecticut. He has had years of experience in advising medical students, young physicians and undergraduates.
